Whoa, what a video! I use a small bank but still the criminals win - I could easily deduct lots of expenses and get a refund - but unfortunately we have mandatory health insurance in Mass so unless I have insurance, the state takes back my refund anyway as punishment.

Emmi, I do use a "community bank" (local, five branches) but of course we've got credit cards issued by the Big Fellas. And my wife has a separate bank account, and we use larger brokers. And of course in addition to Medicare we have supplemental and drug insurance programs issued by huge national companies. It is hard to figure out how to get completely out from under!
Sounds like your not pleased with the mandatory health insurance in Mass. But before long, everyone is going to have more or less "mandatory" insurance. Really, the system that developed in this country is dumb: everyone should have health insurance, and it should be paid for through taxes, and there should be no wasteful, confusing profit-making financial middle-men.
Once upon a time health care was provided by nuns. Now it is provided by scamming billionaires.
