We were without any Comcast services for a while: telephone, internet, and television. As were at least some of our neighbors. It is fixed now, but it is disconcerting to see how connected-dependent I am (we are).
Guess we won't be moving to rural Montana, which in many other ways, I consider a desirable place to be.
Did you have some stormy weather? We could use some rain and cooler weather here. I know what you mean about being connected, and we don't even have cell phone service or high speed internet!

Country, we have had weather of every which kind. Mostly lately it has just been warm.
Comcast went out again in the middle of the night, but by morning it had fixed itself! No service call necessary. I don't understand, but felt grateful.

It has been mostly dry and very hot here. In the 90s every day. This afternoon there was a thunderstorm in St. Louis. We live about 80 miles north. It was the biggest thunderhead cloud we had ever seen. Part of the storm did blow around and give us a little shower.
Our electricity frequently goes out for no reason at all, but usually comes back on in a few minutes. We just have to reset all of the clocks! From now on, I am only going to buy atomic clocks with batteries.
